This is brought about by an auto- immunoreaction, perhaps initiated by the foetus. A large number of lymphocytes infiltrate into the endometrium and destroy and developing foetus. A similar reaction is seen in the rats administered 10,000 potency of the drug but it brings about certain abnormalities in the structural details.Item A Note On Comparative Pharmacognosy of Vanda Roxburghii And Acampe Papillosa (Fam. Papillosa can be distinguished from the latter by various anatomical characters and appearance of powdered form in long wave ultraviolet light. Marked differences are noted in epidermal characters of leaf, arrangement of vascular elements in aerial root and organisation of cells in leaf whole mount.
